I am in love with a new-to-me website. Paperbackswap.com is a site where you can trade books. The way it works is that you post books you don't want anymore and look for ones that you would like to have. If someone else wants your book they request it, you send it at your own expense (usually less than $2) and then you get a credit for sending the book. You can then exchange the credit for a book you want and the person who has posted it sends it to you at no charge! I signed in for the first time yesterday and posted 8 books (mostly books that we had double or quadruple of either from seminars we both attended or desk copies from classes taught multiple times). By this morning 5 of my books had been requested and by this afternoon they were all in the mail. What's super crazy is that the person who told me about the site ended up requesting two of my books! Hilarious. Also, you get credits in the beginning just for posting books and I have already used one to get my own copy of Atonement. I had borrowed it when I read it the first time and now that I am using it in the dissertation I need my own copy. I have added a few other books to my "wish list" and hope that someone will post them soon!

Yay! Thanks for this tip, Beth! The Bozeman Public Library notifies me by email every time I'm late- which is every time....
What a great idea! And welcome back!
